Golden Nugget Inks Evolution Live Casino Game Deal

Mia Gardner | 20 May 2020

United States headquartered organisation Golden Nugget have an impressive portfolio, with land-based operations in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Lake Charles. But more recently the company has also branched out into online services, with a wide variety of titles offered via their dedicated sites. Their most recent innovation, however, comes in the form of live casino games. The company opened live broadcast studios on their casino premises, with the facilities being referred to as cutting edge. These studios provide high quality feeds to their sites, which in turn can be enjoyed by United States players.

But with the growing popularity of live casino games, and perhaps a need to meet escalating demand, it seems the organisation decided to recruit the services of specialist company Evolution Gaming. Evolution Gaming is widely known as the biggest name in the Live broadcast genre, with a number of award winning titles to their name.

So, as it stands, Golden Nugget and the specialist studio are now in an official partnership.

Partnership Details

Evolution Gaming’s offering of live casino games will now be available at Golden Nugget sites. But, for the time being, the titles will only be provided to players in New Jersey. Games to be included in the deal are Side Bet City, Top Card, and Dream Catcher, all of which have gained enormous popularity in other parts of the world. These broadcasts will come directly from the developer’s studio located in Atlantic City, which presently provides services to other parts of the United States.

Though, interestingly, Golden Nugget will be providing their own broadcasts alongside that of the developer. Their own offerings include Live versions of 3 Card Poker, Casino Hold’em, Baccarat, Blackjack, and Roulette.

An Enriched Experience

Senior Vice President at Golden Nugget, Thomas Winter, explained the situation. He pointed out that his company’s in-house live casino games did well in providing a classic experience for players. But, he elaborated, there was a need to expand the offering, providing players with a more unique, show-style type of experience that went beyond the norm. It was for this reason that Evolution Gaming had been contacted, he explained, though not only because the developer’s titles were so well known for their impressive extravagance, but also because the organisation is rated as the best in the business.

Chief commercial officer at Evolution Gaming, Sebastian Johannisson, shared a few thoughts of his own. He stated simply that he was honoured to be a part of the deal. But, he added, more than anything, he hoped that the partnership was a stepping stone for further United States expansion.
