Lightning Box Inks Slots Deal with Konami

Leading slots developer and supplier Lightning Box has concluded what the Australian-headquartered company described to be a progressive and significant new content-supply contract with Nevada operator Konami Gaming. Lightning Box, first established about 16 years ago in 2004, is today known for its high-quality online as well as land-based slots games the regulated world over.

According to a statement released to the media, the Sydney developer will provide Konami Gaming with an initial offering of three of its top-performing slots: Chicken Fox, Eagle Slot, and Silver Lioness 4x - all of which will go live at Konami casinos (online as well as brick-and-mortar) towards the start of next year.

Lightning Box In High Regard

Konami Gaming Senior VP and chief product and strategy officer Victor Duarte has in the meantime expressed his approval of the latest distribution contract secured by the provider. Duarte said that what excites him most of all is Lightning Box’s established foothold and reputation in the competitive US market.  This, said Duarte, is right in line with Konami Gaming’s own vision and trajectory.

And Lightning Box co-founder and CEO Peter Causley says he fully agrees with everything highlighted by Duarte. Since an alliance with Konami creates in favour of Lightning Box several opportunities to expand and to grow, Causley too, is excited about what the agreement means for the future of North American casino expansion. Progress has been achieved in three separate significant areas, said Causley, namely land-based, online, and social.

About Lightning Box

But Lightning Box’s current success is the result of many years of hard work coupled with an unwavering commitment to quality and integrity.

The studio in May announced having been granted a developer/supply-licence from Canadian province British Columbia’s Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch. The licence authorises Lightning Box to supply slots and other casino games to the BCLC – a huge step for any developer. Not to mention even what it means within the context of North American expansion.

Lightning Box is a leading provider of online, social, and land-based slots and gaming content. The studio enjoys leading partnerships with some of the biggest operators in the world, including the Borgata, Paddy Power Betfair, Betsson, the Rank Group, Ladbrokes Coral, and SkillOnNet.

The brand focuses on creating high-quality gaming and iGaming content only. Past titles released by Lightning Box include Astro Cat Deluxe, Astro Pug, RedRoo, Dolphin Gold, and Extreme Fishing, and new releases are in the pipeline.
