Microgaming’s elite club of independent game studios welcomed the newly formed Alchemy Gaming as its 10th member. Club members create high-quality content exclusively for the veteran provider.

According to an announcement made by the provider in November, the studio may be new, but its team is not inexperienced. Instead, some members bring with them extensive experience in the gaming industry, as well as ideas that will manifest in innovative online casino games that are driven by advanced mathematics.

The provider added that the studio also will focus on creating features, graphics, and mechanics that also reflect diversity, the goal being to set the highest standards in gaming experiences.

Provider Promises Quirkiness

Microgaming CEO John Coleman expressed excitement about the new member of the provider’s indie developer club. He emphasised Alchemy Gaming’s scientific approach and its determination to create thrilling online casino games, and he lauded the quality of the team’s current projects. Coleman also said that the studio will add quirkiness to the provider’s offering.

Alchemy Gaming head, Rory Harpur said that extensive collective experience, as well as a keen understanding of players and the mechanics of gaming where among the studio’s strong points. He added that the studio is focussing on creating audio and video elements that complement the game features.

First Slot Due In 2020

According to the provider, the studio’s first online slot Wheel of Wishes will be released during the first quarter of 2020. The Arabian Nights, the famous collection of folktales also known as One Thousand and One Nights, inspired the Wheel of Wishes.

Many of the stories, such as Aladdin’s Wonderful Lamp and the Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor tell of fabulous treasures and incredible wealth. Fittingly, the new game will include a special progressive jackpot that will be part of the provider’s network, which has paid out more than $1 billion in prizes over the last two decades. The slot also will include other features, such as a WowPot.

The provider offered a sneak peek of Wheel of Wishes at its exhibit at SiGMA 2019 in Malta in November.

Among the other developers that joined the provider’s club recently were Gameburger Studios and Neon Valley Studios. Other club members include All41 Studios, Just For The Win Studios and Pulse 8 Studios. Club members have not only created unique new games such as Lock-A-Luck, Long Mu Fortunes, and Rising Royals, they also have rebooted Microgaming slots such as Break Away Deluxe and Deco Diamonds Deluxe.
