Annihilator is of course the 1984 metal band formed by none other than top-form Canadian guitarist and virtuoso solo master Jeff Waters. The slot is designed after everything from the album-covers to the actual riffs and hard-rock musical genius that is the signature sound of the band. A total of 8 album art works doubles up as the inspiration behind the slot’s symbols. Fans will be super-excited about this particular treat as the albums are perfect recognisable on the reels.
Annihilator is accessible to most budgets with bets starting out as low as 0.10 credits for a spin. There are 10 fixed paylines, which means that all 10 paylines must be played at any given time. Winning symbols are tallied by matching combinations appearing from left to right on any given payline. The 5x3 grid is a simple approach and the playability of the slot comes immediately to the fore once the title has been launched.
The casino game’s soundtrack is another definite highlight. Players are treated to an entire playlist populated by the smash-hit music composed by the band over the years. The game features a special bonus round triggered by a collection of scatter symbols, as well as wilds capable of substituting for all standard symbols.
The special bonus feature is called the “Set the World on Fire” bonus game and offers to players the chance to nab a total of 8 free spins. An added wild is displayed once the free spins are in motion. The expanded wild is able to move sideways across the slots reel-set and leaves a blazing trail of fire that ultimately makes it possible to win up to 5,000x the current bet wagered.
There is also a fun and freaky Pick-Me game that will spring into motion whenever three or more doll-symbols make their appearance on the reels. The Fun Palace mini Pick-Me game allows the user to select dolls to gain a multiplier or multipliers and to have another go at picking again.
Available on desktop and mobile, Annihilator looks set to be another smash hit slot from Play’n GO.
