NetEnt & Tipico Sign Online Casino Games Deal

Mia Gardner | 30 Jul 2020

German sports betting and online casino games giant Tipico has signed NetEnt as one of its very first content suppliers as it prepares to enter the New Jersey market.

NetEnt will offer Tipico’s customers a large selection of premium-quality online casino games, including their signature Divine Fortune slot. Furthermore, the iGaming brand will also enjoy access to NetEnt’s full range of marketing and player engagement tools. These will go a long way towards establishing the brand in a highly competitive U.S. market.

NetEnt Highly Regarded

Tipico is currently in the final throws of finalising its New Jersey licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Since all online casino operators are required to first team up with a local land-based operator before gaining access to the state’s digital playing field, they have chosen a land-based partner in Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort.

But it’s the operator’s partnership with NetEnt that excites Tipico U.S. Managing Director Adrian Vella more than anything else. Commenting on the agreement, Vella described them to be a provider bolstered by a proven reputation and track-record in New Jersey as well as the U.S. This, combined with their superb portfolio of branded online casino games creates in Tipico the confidence that its own customers will absolutely fall in love with the developer’s games and offerings, said Vella.

Joining The A-List

Needless to say, Vella’s sentiments on the matter are 100% shared by NetEnt Americas VP of Commercial, Brian Kraft. Commenting on the latest U.S.-facing deal secured by the award-winning supplier, Kraft described the brand as pleased by the fact that they get to be one of the first providers to help Tipico make its U.S. debut in New Jersey.

NetEnt is one of the first suppliers to sign up with Tipico as it prepares to make its inaugural entry into the U.S., and the developer is fast becoming one of quite the list of high-profile partners to the Germany-based operator.

Tipico recently also signed a similar deal with Scientific Games Corporation. According to the agreement, Scientific Games will provide to the operator full access to the more than 2,000 supreme-quality online casino games available on Scientific’s Open Gaming System platform.

New Jersey is one of the first U.S. markets to have legalised online gaming, and the Garden State proved instrumental in the abolishment of the ban on amateur and professional sports betting.
